I’ve been told that "vacation ownership" offers more flexibility than timeshare.
I’m interested in learning if and how this may be so.
Can anyone tell me more? Can someone recommend a reputable company involved in vacation ownership?

They are renting cars worth hundred of thousands of dollars, do you think they are purchasing the cars, or leasing them? Details are key here, and the most detailed explanation gets the points!

On either one, would one get to choose to have the yacht for, say, July and August each year (if they paid the neccesary costs)?

My company develops condominiums in a resort community, usually purchased fee simple by individual owners. We’re interested in marketing fractional ownership, based primarily on the present demand for it in our area. I would like to gain more information on fractional ownership. Can anyone offer me any useful information, experience? Does anyone know the best company for renting a private jet? I travel 25 – 50 hours a year for work and have no desire to buy into a fractional jet ownership program. Are there any programs where I can access private jets without having to partially own them? Also, my travel hours are random so the program would need to have some level of flexibility.

Are car sharing clubs similar to time-shares for condos where you get so many days a year? Or, are they just glorified rental agencies? If they are similar to time sharing do you also develop equity? If not, whats the point?

I would like to know if there is a market where owners of fractional jet hours can advertise their unused hours for resale… much like Vacation Rentals are to Timeshares.
